I wouldn’t really call this a “tour” but rather a bus ride to and from both lakes. If that’s all you’re looking for, this is a great option. They gave us 1.5 hours at each lake which was plenty of time if you’re not looking to do any hikes up there. The pickup spot in Lake Louise Samson Mall was very unclear as there were no signs for a “Cool Banff” tour and the bus driver didn’t know what Cool Banff was when we were looking for the right bus. Not sure if the bus company changes each time but ours was with Flix Bus, a big coach bus that took a group of about 30 or so people around. If you can’t get the shuttles or you want a guaranteed ride, this is a good option

We had an amazing time...
We had an amazing time doing the sunrise tour. The views were great and our driver, Sanjeet, was very kind, accommodating and knowledgeable about the lakes. Our personal opinion was we arrived about an hour too early at Lake moraine. By the time the sun was actually rose, we had to leaver (About 6:30am) so it was mostly dark while we were there. There was 2 hours for Moraine and 1 for Louise, but we believed it should have been the other way around as the activities at Moraine do not open until later. But overall great experience!

I highly recommend…. We had a great private tour with Yug! He picked us up right at our condo and our day was trailered to what we wanted to do and how long we wanted to be at places! He made sure we got to see the best spots and took pictures for us! It was so nice to be dropped off and picked up close to entrances. His knowledge of the area and friendliness was also appreciated!

Yash was a great shuttle driver and a guide, he is the best in business in Banff rides to Moraine and Lake Louise. My family of 4 had the best time of our lives, the scenes were just unbelievable WOW 😍👍, and it was a life-time experience we will never forget as a family, and Yash along with Banff Book My Ride made it even more memorable. Always carry warm clothing like jackets, as the weather is unpredictable especially in the mountains (it was 34 degrees in Calgary and 4 degrees at Moraine lake, we had to spend 293$ for 4 jackets at Moraine as it was freezing😔, however the pictures came out great 😍). All in all I will highly recommend Yash and Banff Book My Ride for anyone from any country, it was an awesome ride with them.

Marc Niehaus did an outstanding job on showing us a fantastic time. We were able to see sheep and moose. We had an outstanding visit to a remote restaurant run by 5-10 young people from around the world. The scenery was spectacular. Mark made the entire day seem effortless. Surprisingly, the best part of this tour may have been the people we met during our afternoon. Mark and the staff at the restaurant were outstanding. I highly recommend this tour.
