Must Do Tour!
This is a must do tour! When I booked I had low expectations because of the reasonable price and that I booked last minute. I was going to drive myself and take the Canada parks shuttle between lakes. (You can’t drive to some lakes and the Canada shuttle costs $30 on its own). The tour was very professional and extremely well ran. Ahmed was our tour guide and he was a rock star! So was our driver, Robert. They kept everything running very smoothly. All the lakes are breathtaking and the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! It’s an 11 out of 10! You won’t be disappointed taking this tour.

We booked the Moraine Lake sunrise tour which also went to Lake Louise. It was a very early morning pick up (430am from our hotel) but well worth it. This is quite an expensive way to see the sunrise but as you can’t get to Moraine Lake at the moment without travelling on a coach it was well worth the money. We had a small coach (12 people) which was great and our guide/driver Maddie was excellent and very knowledgeable. The hot chocolate and cookies were good (I snuck a peak int the back and could see it was the Tim Hortons Hot Chocolate they were using so if you have had that before you know you can’t go wrong! Maddie was good because she didn’t try and speak to us when we got on explaining it was too dark to see anything which allowed everyone to have a little sleep to the lakes. Once we got there however she was excellent for explaining things. Moraine was beautiful and once we got to Lake Louise, we did a little hike which took about 1.5 hours on the Lookout trail. One the way back we took saw a grizzly on the side of the road which crowned off a perfect morning! I would definitely recommend this trip.

This tour was INCREDIBLE!!! Our guide Tyler was prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. He had hot chocolate, coffee, water, muffins and bagels for us. He even provided blankets to keep us warm. The lakes were absolutely stunning and Tyler was able to point out the best spots for pictures and viewing. This was the best way to see them, as the sun was rising and the crowds were manageable. The amount of time at each lake was perfect. The van was clean and comfortable. This tour is a must when in Banff/Canmore.

Had the most amazing tour with ash! She’s so knowledgeable, attentive and friendly with her guests. We went to moraine lake which was breathtaking. Definitely a huge highlight of my Canadian experience and couldn’t recommend this tour enough. We were even lucky enough to see a black bear on bow valley parkway on the drive back which was my first bear sighting since being in Canada. What a fantastic experience! 10/10

Best way to see Moraine Lake
If you’re debating whether to loose sleep to see Moraine Lake at sunrise (3:30am pick ups!) it is so worth it! The lighting on the mountains was beautiful, we got there before most of the crowds and having the shuttle handled by Discover Banff Tours takes the stress out of finding Parks Canada tickets. Jake was an incredible guide; funny, informative and very beautiful himself. 10/10 would gladly wake up before dawn again for Moraine & Jake 🫶🏽
