While visiting Banff we came across this activity that included a Covered Wagon Ride and a Western Cookout, and it turned out to be definitely worthwhile. Communication and Instruction from the Operator prior to the day were very clear and concise. The meeting time and location was very clear. When we arrived the Staff was very helpful in getting us signed-in. Then we got on the Wagon with our two Rider Driver’s, Will and Tom! Both are very professional in their job, but at the same time they also provided some great insights about the area. They also kept things lighthearted and fun throughout the journey! Definitely recommend Banff Trail Rides and if you can get Tom and/or Will as Guides, even better :). Thank you Banff Trail Riders and Will & Tom!!!

The lakes and waterfalls we visited were amazing. Boyd our guide did a great job working with a group of diverse hiking abilities. The weather was perfect but the ground somewhat muddy at the first waterfall if you went past the overlook for a closeup view. It would be worthwhile taking your hiking sticks on this tour if nothing else to use at Wapta Falls. Boyd had several sets of sticks people could borrow but just know they were very useful at Wapata Falls. The sites we visited had lots of visitors and cars were parking a long way away and adding to their hikes considerably just because of distant parking. However being on this small group tour, we had parking right up front as well as a knowledgeable guide to let us know where the best spots to take pictures. We also had plenty of water and snacks for all who wanted or needed them. Couldn’t have had a prettier day. We had a wonderful experience. Definitely worth doing these places with a small group tour.

Our guide Matt was friendly and kind. My cousin and I had a fun and safe time at Sunshine Slabs. It was my cousin’s first time climbing and she felt encouraged and happy with the experience.My only feedback is to clarify what “no private transportation” meant on the booking. I thought it referred to transportation to the meeting point (i.e. the office). It was unclear to me we needed private transportation TO the rock climbing site so that would have been helpful to know and more clearly communicated.Thank you for the fun!

Alysa is super knowledgeable about all aspects of the park, including the local ecology, geology, history, all which encompassed a thorough view of the wonders that are the icefields! A very thoughtfully laid out itinerary for all groups, with plenty of time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. The weather also turned out beautifully for us adding so much to the experience. We absolutely loved our tour of Lake Louis and Moraine Lake. Besides the lakes being breathtaking, our guides Hans and Eleanor were outstanding! They were friendly, knowledgeable and extremely informative throughout the entire tour making sure we had the best experience possible. I would strongly recommend this tour and if your fortunate enough to have Hans as your driver you will certainly have an enjoyable experience!

All In One Banff Experience
This is a great option to see a lot in the Banff area in one day. All the highlights are amazing. Our guide, Patrick, was knowledgeable, helpful and professional. There is an option for lunch at the Fairmont Banff. We elected to obtain lunch there as walk-ins. The meal of course was nice, but the views and the Chateau grounds are worth the extra expense.

Best family Banff experience!
I can’t recommend this excursion enough. It was the favorite activity of all the things we did in Banff for our entire family. We only had our family of four, a guide, and an additional climber. It was such a lovely reprieve from Banff crowds. Our guide, Tai, was patient, friendly, and a wonderful teacher. The climbing site is gorgeous and only 10 minutes from Banff. There is something for all experience levels. I am definitely beginner and somewhat out of shape, and had an excellent and easy time. My kids more climbing more advanced routes. There was also an experienced climber in our group, and he was able to get routes that challenged him. It truly is all day. For us, we arrived at 8:00 and lasted until around 2:00. Such a great value and core memories for our family!
