I highly recommend Banff Elite
Our family of four just returned from a wonderful week in the Canadian Rockies, including 5 days of private tours with Vista Chase/Banff Elite, where we visited many places spanning 4 national parks: Banff, Jasper, Kootenay, and Yoho.Starting from a few months before our trip date, Priyanka was super helpful over the phone and email helping me plan our trip. I had let her know some places we definitely wanted to go, and not only did she plan an itinerary with the places I listed, she also suggested other activities in each of the areas, so we got to go to some amazing places that I didn’t even know about.Rahul was our amazing driver/tour guide, picking us up in a nice spacious, clean vehicle each day. Rahul is a very knowledgeable tour guide and was able to adjust our itinerary to work around the rain, which was the only way we got to do everything on our list, despite there being many rainy days while we were there. It’s almost as if Rahul magically controlled the weather, because even if it was raining hard where we started, by the time we arrived at our destination, it was no longer raining there. This knowledge he has about the constantly changing weather in the Canadian Rockies and reading the clouds is truly invaluable.Furthermore, Rahul also knows about great spots to see beautiful views at the popular lakes, which are away from the crowds, and as a result, he was able to take many beautiful family photos for us at all of these places without any people in the background.Rahul is also just a kind, caring, and helpful person, carrying my hiking poles for me when I wasn’t using them, running ahead to get in line for us so we wouldn’t have to wait in a long line when we arrived, etc. He really goes above and beyond as a tour guide!One of the best perks about being on these private tours is not having to drive ourselves and waste a lot of time waiting for parking spots at all the popular spots in Banff and along the Icefields Parkways, since their commercial vehicles allow them to go to a special parking lot. And because we were on a private tour, we could stay as long as we wanted at each location, as compared to the big group tours where they only stop for a short time at each location for people to get out to snap some photos and then get back on the shuttle.If you’re looking for a flexible, customizable experience to see all the beautiful sights in the Canadian Rockies, I highly recommend Banff Elite.
