Banff Night Tours

Amazing tour and experience. If the weather cooperates, you will not be disappointed. The tour guides were great and even taught us how to take good pictures of the night sky on our phones.

I don’t think it could’ve been a better trip! Conditions and guide were amazing! Definitely would recommend!

Amazing tour! Aiden was a great tour guide, with fun stories and lots of knowledge. We also saw a herd of elk at the beginning and end of the tour! Our photos turned out amazing and we saw the Milky Way!

We were concerned if the hike was canceled due to weather. Tried but COULD NOT get any response from the booking agent. Glad though we made it to the gathering point and it was a go. Tour guides Aiden and Ella were exceptional, knowledgeable, caring. Especially on how they reacted when came across with elks along the no-light trail. They made the hike Very Enjoyable. Will definitely do it again, hopefully not in a cloudy night.

We had beautifully clears skies and our guide did a good job considering the size of the group he had. We were surprised at the very large number that had booked this tour. It helped that the group was split in half but it probably should have been cut in thirds.We did have red head lamps to help walking but was hard to see cracks and lifts on the sidewalk especially with the size of the group. That said Aidan did a nice job helping everyone figure out how to take night pictures with their cell phone cameras and pointed out numerous constellations and stars. The Milky Way was very visible and photographed well. Overall it was an enjoyable evening.

Our guide Aiden was PHENOMENAL… informative, super bright and just confident in what he knows and does! Our fave guide of our time in Banff!! The experience was a bit more adventurous than we expected- you will be walking in the pitch dark for a few miles on a trail in the woods which we never would have attempted on our own! With that said… the star gazing was AMAZING!!! We even saw the Northern lights!!! Such a pleasant surprise and would def recommend this excursion!!!

Aiden was a fantastic guide! He educated us on the constellations and coached us through taking the best photos of them. Beautiful walk.

An excellent and fun late evening walk with plenty of fantastic stargazing. We were extremely fortunate to have no smoke, clear skies and Ella, our enthusiastic and very knowledgeable guide!

This was a great tour, and a fitting capstone to our visit to Banff. Ella was a great guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly, engaging even after midnight, and really brought the skies to life.

Ella our guide was fantastic! She had great stories, was knowledgeable about the constellations, animals in the area, and some history of Canada. The walk was easy but long enough to make it fun. The sky was beautiful and stars were popping! Don’t let the time deter you from a beautiful experience! Bonus- ample amounts of parking!!!

The stargazing tour with guide Aiden was a big highlight of our trip to Banff. Aiden was exceptionally knowledgeable about the night sky and had some amazing stories to share not just about astronomy but also the history, lore, and culture of the region. This helped make our experience truly unforgettable. We recommend this experience to anyone interested in connecting deeper with the Banff experience. This was so fun! Aidan was a very entertaining and informative guide. The hike was not too strenuous or too long, and we saw some great view. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

Aidan was great! Told lots of interesting stories about the history of Banff alongside pointing out certain constellations and planets. Had a gorgeous night, would definitely recommend!

What a tour! I didn't know what to expect going in, but I can confidently say I would do it again in a heartbeat. Aidan was an incredible guide, knowledgeable, funny, and patient throughout the entire experience. He took the time to teach us how to take better photos with our phones at night, explained everything we were seeing, and made the tour both informative and entertaining.We were fortunate to have a beautifully clear night, which made the experience even more memorable. I truly couldn't have asked for a better way to end my trip. Highly recommend this tour, and if you get Aidan as your guide, you're in for a fantastic experience!

Make sure you cover up, mosquitos love this tour as well, but I have to say it was really special, it’s a few miles so wear comfortable shoes. The views of the night sky are spectacular

This was an amazing experience and well worth the late start & even later end time! We were extremely lucky with the weather - only 1% cloud cover so were able to get fantastic views. Ella our tour guide was brilliant. Very knowledgeable & relaxed but also very safety conscious. She shared some great anecdotes & facts. All in all an excursion not to be missed. Just make sure you cover yourself in mosquito repellent and wear long sleeved layers!
