We knew getting to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise would be difficult but booking this tour with Canmore Travel took all the stress out of the planning. Pick up was convenient, the van spacious and comfortable, and the guide was not only knowledgeable but friendly and communicated with an excellent speaking voice. Michael went above and beyond to make sure our trip would be memorable and even suggested don’t miss spots during the rest of our stay in Banff.

Great Day in Yoho!
We had a great day in Yoho visiting Emerald Lake, Natural Bridge & Takakkaw Falls. Austin was our guide & he was very nervous ce & always made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Emerald Lake was beautiful & it was nice getting there early in the day to allow those who wanted to rent a canoe get in line before it got too long. We had ample time to explore the Lake & take it in before moving on to a quick visit at Natural Bridge. The tour finished off with Takakkaw Falls. It was a nice walk to the base of the falls & we had enough time to take pictures & enjoy the area. Overall, I would recommend this tour if you have already seen Lake Loiuse & Moraine Lake as Emerald Lake is stunning & right up there with the Banff Lakes.

This was a nice, relaxed tour. We had plenty of time at Emerald Lake to enjoy all of its beauty. A quick stop to Natural Bridge was just the right amount of time & then the awesome Takakkaw Falls. Incredible! Austin was a fun & personable guide. He was a very safe driver & really made the day a fun experience.

Had the most amazing tour with ash! She’s so knowledgeable, attentive and friendly with her guests. We went to moraine lake which was breathtaking. Definitely a huge highlight of my Canadian experience and couldn’t recommend this tour enough. We were even lucky enough to see a black bear on bow valley parkway on the drive back which was my first bear sighting since being in Canada. What a fantastic experience! 10/10

Gonzalo was an extraordinary guide. Due to an unexpected injury during our hike, we unfortunately couldn’t continue our journey to Mt. Temple and had to return earlier than planned. We went to the bus parking lot and met Gonzalo there. We explained what had happened and asked if it would be possible to return earlier. Not only did he provide us with an earlier ride back on his bus, but he was also incredibly helpful and empathetic about our injury. He gave us plenty of information about activities we could do in the meantime, as well as advice on how to recover from the injury and prepare for our next adventure. He was an excellent example of what true hospitality, empathy, and professionalism look like. A couple of our friends asked us which company we would recommend for visiting Moraine Lake, and without hesitation, we chose ViaVia because of this amazing experience. Thank you, Gonzalo!

Oscar our guide was terrific, he led us up the Rockpile at Moraine Lake to a great view and up a trail to Lake Louise for more great views. We had two hours at each lake and it was very enjoyable. This was a great time to visit because the crowds were much smaller than during the day. The price was very reasonable and the company was very prompt. Highly recommend when in Banff!!

Best way to see Moraine Lake
If you’re debating whether to loose sleep to see Moraine Lake at sunrise (3:30am pick ups!) it is so worth it! The lighting on the mountains was beautiful, we got there before most of the crowds and having the shuttle handled by Discover Banff Tours takes the stress out of finding Parks Canada tickets. Jake was an incredible guide; funny, informative and very beautiful himself. 10/10 would gladly wake up before dawn again for Moraine & Jake 🫶🏽

Our guide Tim was amazing and very informative. He was funny and helped us find the best spot for sunrise. At lake Louise he told us to go straight to the tea house and it paid off, we got right in and got a table with no waiting. Thanks Tim!!!
