What a fabulous trip! The scenery was incredible and the weather cooperated fully. Our driver, Abdul. was fantastic. He was an excellent driver and very personable. He provided great information about where to go as well as being very clear about the amount of time we had at each stop. My husband has a health condition that makes walking a challenge at times, and I was particularly impressed that Abdul was very concerned about my husband walking up the path at Moraine Lake. It was a great day.

Beyond Banff - great small local tour company!
We had a tour with Beyond Banff (a small local tour company) in mid-September and it was SUCH a great experience. Our tour guide, Quaid, is a born-and-raised local and knows Banff inside and out, experience that can't be replicated. Our tour was full of interesting local history, ecology, and the best places to get photos. He also had the best washroom recommendations for bathroom breaks, an important detail on a 9-hour day! We visited the highlights, of course, (Lake Louise, Moraine Lake), and the tour company also added a few other stops that were a little more off the beaten path (and thus a little quieter and less busy). It was so much easier and less stressful than doing all the driving ourselves. Throughout the whole trip, Quaid was professional, a great driver, and was very personable and entertaining. He also gave us several ideas for quieter and less busy hikes on our last day in the area. Highly recommend Quaid and Beyond Banff for your trip to the area!

It was a good trip especially since it was a small group. This tour is highly recommended.

Every single stop on this tour was breathtaking! Liam did everything he could to make this day special for us. He planned our route to best avoid crowds, drove us right up close to each site, guided us to the best viewing spots, and took quality pictures for everyone. His energy kept us going and he looked after each of our needs. The lunch stop in Lake Louise Village was top notch. We were fortunate enough to end our day by viewing a mama bear and her cubs. What more could you ask for?

Exceeded expectations!!! Liam was awesome. He was able to take us to all the best viewpoints avoiding the busy lines. We had a nice surprise at the end of our tour and saw a bear and her cubs. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Liam!

We booked this Rocky Mountaineer pre-train tour from Calgary to Jasper with Rocky Mountaineer / Trailfinders. It was great. We had 7 days Calgary to Banff to Lake Louise to Jasper with free time in each to explore. The pick-ups / drop-offs worked seamlessly. The drivers (& hostess) were very friendly & efficient. We enjoyed all the included activities / sights en route. This was a great way to get from Calgary to Jasper and extend our holiday.

As a solo traveller, I really enjoyed this trip. Without joining this tour, I would not have been able to see so many beautiful mountains and breathtaking landscapes.The owner, guide, and driver was very knowledgeable, responsible, and professional. Every visit started on time, and the whole tour was well organized.I really enjoyed all the places we visited. In particular, seeing four different colours of water was absolutely amazing!As someone who has lived in British Columbia, I have seen many beautiful landscapes, but the Canadian Rockies are truly something special. The scenery is simply breathtaking.This was a wonderful tour for experiencing the beauty of nature, and I would highly recommend it to anyone, whether travelling alone or with a group.

Nolan and Gerald tag teamed telling us about the culture, sites and activities we would be doing. They made a great team. Peyto Lake was beautiful first thing in the morning. We learned how glaciers help produce the vivid blue in the lakes around them. Next we went to the Skywalk which provided great views of glaciers, waterfalls and the rugged terrain below that mountain goats and big horn sheep frequent. It was great being on the bus because buses park right next to the entrance while car riders must be transported to the site. We walked right in and had our bus waiting for us once we we done. The buffet style lunch had a great variety of food and was extremely well organized to handle busloads of people. The photography in the visitor Center below was exceptional. We then were driven to the ice explorer which took us straight out o to the glacier. The views were breathtaking. We had plenty of time to walk around in safe zones and get all the pictures we wanted. As a bonus, we even saw a large black bear along the road on our way home and paused for a brief moment for photos out the window. Again, being on the tour bus allowed us to see more because of the up front parking passenger buses are given at all the sites. Well worth the tour.
