Banff Transfers & Ground Transport

A group of 11 of us were driven in a comfortable shuttle by Nathan, our guide. A five hour experience that was very pleasant. The hour-long drive from Banff to Lake Louise provided breath-taking views of mountains and rivers. Nathan was an excellent resource for other tourist destinations that we passed enroute to Lake Louise. Once arriving at Lake Louise my mother and I were amazed by the beauty of the area. Words fail to fully describe the beauty of the place. I have seen lots of photos of Lake Louise, but photos fail compared to being there in person. The turquoise water surrounded by majestic mountains --and the red canoes off in the distance added to the charm of the trip. I regret not having the time to rent a canoe, as the line was too long. Next time. I was travelling with my 85 year old mother, and the terrain around the Lake was such that she could easily get around with her cane. Lots of spots to sit if she needed to rest. We were there late September and although the crowds were significant, they were not overwhelming. We also had the opportunity to check out the hotel gift shop and café, which were lovely-- but not cheap. After a bathroom break with long, but fast moving lines we hopped back onto our shuttle to get to Lske Moraine. Again once arriving, a stunning view of crystal clear turquoise water surrounded by mountains. Leaving my mother to rest along the shore I took the Rockpile trail up to get a more expansive view of the lake. Although the Rockpile looks to be an intimidating trek--once you are on the trail it is actually at a rather relaxed incline and took me, a 62 year old moderately active gal about 15 minutes to get to the top. Great view once you arrive, get a few photos and then head back down. The trail was a little rough in places and one needs to be mindful at times where you place your feet. Once back at lake side there is a gift shop and cafeteria. I bought 2 ice teas and 2 bags of chips for $27.00--just a heads up. We loaded back onto our shuttle for the drive back to Banff. Unexpected and funny thing happened on the way back to Banff--nothing to do with the tour per se--but the highway is divided, and on the opposite side of the highway from us, a small propellor plane had to make an emergency landing. There was no crash and no one was hurt--but not something one sees everyday. Overall the tour was excellent. Seeing Lake Louise is magical. The tour in my opinion was the right length of time, long enough that it didn't feel rushed, but also short enough leaving time for other things to do in the day. I would recommend this tour.

Safe driver and on time but other pick up stops making it a bit longer ride than expected. If you are in a rush this is Not good for you

Frank did a great job of explaining the interest g facts all along the way. It was interesting and very informative. He was also very good at making sure people understood the meeting place and time. It was a very well done tour.

Transfer from Banff to Calgary airport was flawless. I was so worried because it was 400am but the driver was on time and delightful!

Always go to lake Louise in the morning. Afternoons are quite busy at the lake . Some food is available at the hotel. Our guide was very ice and knowledgeable. Very good driver too

Frank is very responsible and charming, who shares a lot interesting facts along the way and help us take photos. We went through a series of beautiful sights with a wonderful guide.

My driver was Red, who also had driven the bus on my Lake Louise/ Moraine Lake tour! We had such a great drive getting to know more about each other. Red is super! On the tour he called me to make sure I was on the bus and today he drove me to my hotel's front door instead of the airport. I definitely recommend this mode if travel from Banff to Calgary - and be sure to ask for Red. You will love him!

The driver was punctual and knowledgeable. He shown us the city before dropping us off at the airport. He played nice music inside the shuttle which brought back good old childhood memories .

Smooth transition from hotel to car, Our Driver Charles was engaging and very helpful. Even took us to a couple of good photo op spots before we left Banff for Calgary. The trip was smooth.

Picked us up at our Banff hotel arriving a few minutes early. Helped us load and unload bags, professional and got us to our destination safely. Highly recommend and will book again if we happen to be back in Calgary.

I needed to get from Canmore to the Calgary airport. I booked Vivian Green it was great. The pick up time was perfect. I was seated in a seat that suited my disability. The driver was professional and courteous, and I might add, a very good driver. I felt safe and secure was delivered directly to the airport. Such a wonderful service.

The driver Joey was punctual and polite. The car was clean. It was a comfortable no-hassle private transport. Highly recommend it.
