Every single stop on this tour was breathtaking! Liam did everything he could to make this day special for us. He planned our route to best avoid crowds, drove us right up close to each site, guided us to the best viewing spots, and took quality pictures for everyone. His energy kept us going and he looked after each of our needs. The lunch stop in Lake Louise Village was top notch. We were fortunate enough to end our day by viewing a mama bear and her cubs. What more could you ask for?

Exceeded expectations!!! Liam was awesome. He was able to take us to all the best viewpoints avoiding the busy lines. We had a nice surprise at the end of our tour and saw a bear and her cubs. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Liam!

We knew getting to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise would be difficult but booking this tour with Canmore Travel took all the stress out of the planning. Pick up was convenient, the van spacious and comfortable, and the guide was not only knowledgeable but friendly and communicated with an excellent speaking voice. Michael went above and beyond to make sure our trip would be memorable and even suggested don’t miss spots during the rest of our stay in Banff.

I don’t tend to like tours, however, this one may have changed my mind on this. Our guide was Erin who was very good at keeping the balance right between talking when driving and giving information but allowing us space once at the spots. The spots we went to very fantastic, photo opportunities were amazing- we had really good weather. Timing for Banff gondola was really good. We really enjoyed the whole tour including the gondola which we will review separately. Brody was waiting for us when we came down from the gondola and was so amenable to the group taking requests for where to drop people. I can’t recommend this company and tour enough - they were brilliant

What a day! An experience of stunningly beautiful and spectacular lakes, scenery and landscapes, made all the more enjoyable by the charming, knowledgeable and enjoyable company of the guide, Russell, from Molari. The little changes made to the schedule during the day, ensured that I saw even more than I anticipated or expected. Pre-event communication was both clear and helpful as well as timely. Were I to return sometime for another trip, there is no doubt who I’d be using as my guide for the day! Highly recommended.

What a day! Stunning lakes, rivers, canyons and mountains. A wonderful experience from start to finish. Advance communication and information was very good, and the guide, Russell, was charming, knowledgeable and a real pleasure to spend time with. The little detours and adjustments suggested as we progressed made the occasion even more enjoyable and ensured that I saw even more than I expected to. Had the most amazing tour with ash! She’s so knowledgeable, attentive and friendly with her guests. We went to moraine lake which was breathtaking. Definitely a huge highlight of my Canadian experience and couldn’t recommend this tour enough. We were even lucky enough to see a black bear on bow valley parkway on the drive back which was my first bear sighting since being in Canada. What a fantastic experience! 10/10

My husband and I were...
My husband and I were trying to get transport tickets to see Lake Moraine but there were no tickets available so I started looking online. We had done a Cool Banff trip in Hawaii and had a good experience so I scheduled a trip in Banff late one night because we only had one more day to see the lakes. Jugal, our guide also happened to be up late and texted me right away asking where we were staying. We originally chose a pickup sight near our hotel but he offered to pick us up at the hotel since it was on his way. Great service! We left Canmore to head to Banff to pick up a family at a different resort and then we were on to Lake Louise. Jugal gave us excellent information and allowed us to ask many questions. And we asked a lot! He told us Canadian history, pointed out interesting things to see, and let us know how to stay safe on the trails. The small transport bus holds about 12 people and the large windows make it easy to see and it’s comfortable. The itinerary was set at an easy pace for the day. We were picked up at 7:30 and dropped off at 4:00. In that time we were able to see many gorgeous lakes: Louise, Moraine, Bow, and Peyto with a lunch stop at Lake Louise Village. It’s very busy there and the lines are long at all the restaurants so we went to their grocery store to grab a sandwich and eat outside. This trip was worthwhile because we were able to get close to all the entrances without having to trudge through with so many people. We also enjoyed talking to the other people on our van and getting to know Jugal. It was a wonderful day!

Gonzalo was an extraordinary guide. Due to an unexpected injury during our hike, we unfortunately couldn’t continue our journey to Mt. Temple and had to return earlier than planned. We went to the bus parking lot and met Gonzalo there. We explained what had happened and asked if it would be possible to return earlier. Not only did he provide us with an earlier ride back on his bus, but he was also incredibly helpful and empathetic about our injury. He gave us plenty of information about activities we could do in the meantime, as well as advice on how to recover from the injury and prepare for our next adventure. He was an excellent example of what true hospitality, empathy, and professionalism look like. A couple of our friends asked us which company we would recommend for visiting Moraine Lake, and without hesitation, we chose ViaVia because of this amazing experience. Thank you, Gonzalo!

We booked a tour with Monarch VIP Tours to visit Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Bow Lake and Peyto Lake, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish.The itinerary struck just the right balance — enough time at each location to really soak it in, without feeling rushed or dragged out. It was such an efficient way to hit all the key highlights of the Banff area in one day.What we loved most was how VIP the experience actually felt. Instead of dealing with the Parks Canada shuttle (which is notoriously hard to book and packs 50+ people at a time), we had a small, intimate tour. We got lucky and had the vehicle to ourselves, but even with others along, groups max out at 12 — a huge difference in comfort and pace. The vehicle was very comfortable and clean.Our guide was knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly cared about making sure we enjoyed every stop. They gave great tips and helped us plan how to spend our time at each location. They even brought a cooler so we could bring our own lunch, which was a nice touch given it’s a long day with limited stops along the way.Even though we had a rental car, we were so glad we booked this tour instead of driving ourselves. Tour vehicles get access to special parking areas that regular visitors simply can’t use. If you’re driving yourself, you can end up wasting a lot of time just walking from distant parking lots to the actual viewpoints, instead of enjoying the scenery.If you want a stress-free, efficient, and comfortable way to see Banff’s must-see lakes, I can’t recommend Monarch VIP Tours enough!
