Great experience but very long day
This is a looong day…. Especially if you’re traveling from Calgary. But all the stops were great. Our driver was good at making decisions appropriate for timing sites and stops, and did not leave anyone behind. However he was not much of a guide, he did not offer any info during the drive or any sites. We skipped Herbert lake and went to Waterfowl lake instead due to the crowd. We had 3 hours at the Columbia Icefield discovery center, which was not enough if you were going to have lunch, go for the ice explorer and skywalk. I ate in 20 minutes, had my tickets booked so got in line right away, spent hardly 5 minutes at the skywalk but I barely made it back in time. But our driver had to wait more than 30 minutes anyway for everyone to get back on the bus.

Colombia Icefield small group day trip
A excellent day exploring various spots around Banff and Jasper national parks, culminating in a trip to Colombia Icefield and the Skywalk. Our guide and driver Antik was excellent and helped to enhance the day by providing a great overview of the area. At stops he directed us to the quieter spots and also took some great photos, far better than any selfie. He provided the tickets so no hidden charges during the day and time to enjoy lunch at the Columbia Icefield centre and look at the exhibition. Also chance to walk along one of the many trails if you want. It is a long day but allows you to see a huge amount of the area if only visiting for a few days.

A great day out exploring Banff and Jasper national parks, culminating in the trip to the Colombia Icefield and Skywalk. Ankit our guide and driver was excellent. His knowledge of the area was great taking us to quieter spots at each of the stops and also took some amazing photos of us, beats the selfies. Before the trip he was in in touch to arrange pickup and arrived exactly as agreed in a very comfortable vehicle. He tailored the stops to meet our needs got the tickets required so all taken care for us. A wonderful trip a long day but allows you to see the area when you are only staying a few days. Highly recommend.

An absolutely flawless experience from start to finish with Boyd. Booking was stress free. Boyd was organized, knowledgeable, engaging, humorous and attentive to every guest in the group. Kristy was a great tour guide. This was a great full tour. Hits all the major attractions throughout an 8 hour day. A predefined cheeseburger dinner was provided and was well prepared and fresh. Kristy did a great job arriving at all of the attractions navigating preferred parking and explaining how and what we were doing. It was easy getting into and out of each attraction. She also had a full understanding of the area, the history and what was going to be our best values after our tour was over. She was informative, friendly and our 8 hour day was a fantastic baseline for our first day in Banff. Well done!

Stacy was an amazing tour guide. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. She made this trip so fun. My kids loved her and she was so thoughtful to include them in all the conversation. I loved hearing about all the things she knew about the area and her background as an educator was evident in her passion for sharing about this amazing area. The two hours at each stop was just enough time and the hot drinks were icing on the cake. It was also so much nicer to just sit back and ride and enjoy the view instead of trying to drive and navigate. It was for sure worth every penny.

We had a full day tour with Otis and it was amazing!! He picked us up at our hotel in Lake Louise and we saw 4 lakes, and a cow moose and her baby!! Otis was attentive, kind and fun!! We had an amazing time on our tour with our tour guide, Otis. We visited Marble Canyon (stunning) and fairly easy hike. Then, we had a very easy hike around the shoreline of Lake Louise (beautiful - go early, if possible. It gets very crowded). Last up was Moraine Lake. Definitely, not one to miss! The water was incredibly beautiful!! I highly recommend renting a canoe for an hour on this lake and getting away from the crowds. It was so serene and peaceful!Paul was so helpful as we booked our tour by offering recommendations for restaurants, special points of interest (when to visit to avoid major crowds), etc. Otis was a delightful guide. He’s a great driver and we had easy conversations with him. He had great tips and recommendations for our stay in Banff.I highly recommend Legacy Quests!
