We were only in Banff for a day and 1/2 and wanted to see a lot of places. I found this tour on Cool Banff and signed us up. The tour was incredible, the sights amazing but the best part was Ram, our guide and driver. Ram communicated well, provided lots of trivia, really made it fun. He has a great personality and is a wonderful man. I highly recommend this (or any) tour with Ram! The other travellers were awesome too! We enjoyed everyone!

We had such an amazing experience touring Banff and the Icefields Parkway with Andy! From beginning to end, he made the entire day feel special, relaxed, and memorable.Andy took us to around 12 different spots throughout Banff and along the Icefields Parkway, and what we loved most was that he didn’t just take us to the usual tourist attractions. He also showed us several hidden gems and beautiful scenic locations that we probably would never have discovered on our own. Every stop was carefully chosen, and the views were absolutely breathtaking.He knew all the best picturesque spots and made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery without ever feeling rushed. He was also incredibly patient and helpful throughout the tour. One of the highlights for us was how much effort he put into taking pictures of us. He knew exactly where to stand, the best angles, and the most beautiful backgrounds, and he captured some truly gorgeous photos that we will treasure from this trip.Andy was very knowledgeable about the area and shared interesting information along the way, but at the same time the tour felt fun and comfortable rather than overly structured. It honestly felt like exploring Banff with someone who really knows and loves the area.The Icefields Parkway itself is spectacular, but having Andy guide us made the experience even better because we were able to see so much in one day without worrying about where to stop, what we might miss, or where the best viewpoints were.If you are visiting Banff and want to see both the famous sights and some incredible lesser-known places, I would highly recommend booking a tour with Andy. He went above and beyond to make our experience memorable, and the beautiful pictures he took of us were an extra special bonus.Thank you, Andy, for such a wonderful day and for helping us create so many beautiful memories in Banff and along the Icefields Parkway. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Highly recommended!

Small local company with a big impact!
We had a tour with Beyond Banff (a small local tour company) in mid-September and it was SUCH a great experience. Our tour guide, Quaid, is a born-and-raised local and knows Banff inside and out, experience that can't be replicated. Our tour was full of interesting local history, ecology, and the best places to get photos. He also had the best washroom recommendations for bathroom breaks, an important detail on a 9-hour day! We visited the highlights, of course, (Lake Louise, Moraine Lake), and the tour company also added a few other stops that were a little more off the beaten path (and thus a little quieter and less busy). It was so much easier and less stressful than doing all the driving ourselves, and we had a great time. Throughout the whole trip, Quaid was professional, a great driver, and was very personable and entertaining. Highly recommend Quaid and Beyond Banff for your trip to the area!

What an AWESOME tour. Abdul, our tour guide is so knowledgeable and friendly. This was the highlight of the week for us. He taught us how to take pictures of the sky at night, picked us up in Canmore at our resort, had tripods for the cell phone cameras, set up two person heated camp chairs and served hot chocolate. And the pictures - we are showing the pictures to all our family and friends. If you have the chance, take this tour!

He was exceptionally personable, warm, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. From start to finish, FIVE STARS!Luis shared interesting stories and information, answered all our questions, helped the group make the most of every stop, and made the whole day feel effortless and fun. His enthusiasm and genuine passion for the Rockies really made the trip special.The scenery was breathtaking, and we spent a perfect amount of time at each stop. I couldn’t have asked for a better day trip, and would highly, highly recommend this guide to anyone visiting the area and looking for a jam packed (but perfectly paced, unrushed) day of highlights!

Lots of beautiful scenery! Although they can't guarantee that you will see wildlife, our tour guide, Charlie, was on it! He had a network of other guides that all share wildlife sightings and Charlie didn't hesitate to go where there was a report of bears! We were able to see a mama black bear and her 3 cubs!! It was awesome!!

Truly wonderful experience and certainly the BEST 2.5 hours spent touring around. Our group was only four people and so we had the driver/guide to ourselves. Aki was our driver and guide, he arrived promptly and took us off on our tour around the lakes and sites. He knew all the right places to stop to get the right photo opportunities as well as offering us water/biscuits on the way around. His knowledge of the area was exceptional. He also helped by taking group photos of us all. All in all an incredible experience and one I shall never forget. I never realized how truly beautiful Canada was until this trip. Banf Park Lake Louise was my favorite spot. Our activities included: • Lake Louise • Moraine Lake - A lunch break at shops owned by Natives • Emerald Lake - Johaster Canyon • Downtown Banff. My itinerary was slightly adjusted by Cool Banff, but they kept me informed in advance and made sure to accommodate my preferences. Our driver and guide, Samuel, was both funny and knowledgeable. This trip was worth every penny, and the experience will stay with me forever.
